Keihan Electric Railway was founded in 1906 as the operator of a railway connecting Kyoto and Osaka.
The century-old company has taken root, grown and blossomed in Kyoto, one of the birthplaces of Japanese culture.
In our history of over 100 years,
we have strived to expand our railway network and worked on a wide variety of projects closely related to everyday life.
The Keihan Group is a corporate group consisting of almost 50 companies,
and is developing its core business in the four fields of transportation, real estate, retail distribution, and leisure/service.
